I need your help in the movement to cure arthritis

My name is Khia Veith. Im 10 years old and I am in 4th grade at Franklin Elementary in Mankato. If you dont know me, here is my story.

I was about 1 year old when I got really sick. My mom took me to the doctor and they didnt know what was wrong. About 6 months later I started to have pain in my knees and fingers. They knew then what was wrong. I had to take alot of medicines and I also had 2 surgeries by the time I was 4. I was so sick that I couldnt go out much so I didnt get more sick.

Right now I am feeling pretty good. Get a little more stiff lately with all of the crazy weather changes.I know I will be good enough to walk or my mom said that I can ride on her back!

I feel well most days but I am still really stiff in the mornings. My mom says that I walk like Im 90 years old and I feel like it too!

In the summer I play softball and I love to swim. This summer I am going to go to Camp M.A.S.H. (Make Arthritis Stop Hurting) for the first time! I will be away from home for a whole week!

Mostly I just try to be a normal 10 year old girl! Please help me raise money to find a cure and help people better understand this disease! Thanks!

Khia and family
(Kara, Kaedyn and Khyler)
